Stratus One AI, LLC ("Stratus One AI," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RADS (Rapid Application Development System) platform and its associated products, including SwimTech, and related mobile and web applications (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Services or visit our websites, including stratusoneai.com.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you register for a subscription, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).
  • Business Information: Company name, street address, suite/unit number, city, state, ZIP/postal code, and business phone number.
  • Payment Information: Subscription plan selection and billing details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored on our servers.
  • Communications: Messages, emails, or other communications you send through our platform to your customers or contacts.
  • Support Requests: Information you provide when contacting us for customer support.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our Services, including features used, pages visited, and actions taken.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP addresses, access times, and referring URLs.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Payment Processor: Stripe provides us with limited transaction information (e.g., subscription status, customer ID) but does not share your full payment card details with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain the Services: Create and manage your account, process subscriptions, and deliver platform functionality.
  • Process payments: Manage subscription billing, invoicing, and payment processing through Stripe.
  • Communicate with you: Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing notifications), service updates, and respond to support inquiries.
  • Send SMS messages: Deliver text message notifications and alerts that you have opted in to receive (see Section 5).
  • Facilitate your communications: Enable you to send emails, SMS, and other messages to your customers and contacts through our platform.
  • Improve our Services: Analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and enhance functionality.
  • Ensure security: Detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized access, and other security issues.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • Password hashing using bcrypt with salt.
  • JWT-based authentication with token expiration.
  • Role-based access controls.
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and code.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

Important: By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Stratus One AI and its platform products. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time.

5.1 Consent and Opt-In

We send SMS/text messages only to individuals who have provided express consent to receive them. Consent is obtained when you:

  • Register for an account and provide your phone number with opt-in consent, or
  • Explicitly request SMS notifications through your account settings.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

5.2 Types of Messages

We may send the following types of SMS messages:

  • Account verification and security alerts
  • Subscription and billing notifications
  • Service updates and maintenance alerts
  • Messages you initiate to your customers through our platform

5.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification preferences. Typical frequency is 1–10 messages per month for account-related notifications.

5.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
  • Updating your notification preferences in your account settings.
  • Contacting us at support@stratusoneai.com.

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You may opt back in at any time by replying START or by updating your account settings.

5.5 Help

For help with SMS messages, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@stratusoneai.com.

5.6 No Sharing for Marketing

We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging service provider (Azure Communication Services) for the sole purpose of delivering messages you have consented to receive.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Update

You may access and update your account information at any time by logging into your account or contacting us.

6.2 Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@stratusoneai.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

6.3 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to Know: Request details about the personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

6.4 Communications Opt-Out

You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Note that you may still receive transactional communications related to your account (e.g., billing confirmations, security alerts).

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. After account cancellation, we retain data for up to 90 days to facilitate account recovery, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We may retain certain information longer as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records, dispute resolution).

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
